चकार सज्यं गाण्डीवं वज्ननिष्पेषगौरवम् | निमेषान्तरमात्रेण तथैव विजयोडर्जुन:,इधर विजयी अर्जुनने भी पलक मारते-मारते अपने उस गाण्डीव धनुषपर प्रत्यंचा चढ़ा दी, जिसे वज़को भी पीस डालनेका गौरव प्राप्त था
cakāra sajyaṃ gāṇḍīvaṃ vajra-niṣpeṣa-gauravam | nimeṣāntara-mātreṇa tathaiva vijayo 'rjunaḥ ||
Vidura said: In the space of a single blink, victorious Arjuna strung the Gāṇḍīva bow—so mighty that it bears the famed glory of crushing even the thunderbolt. The verse highlights Arjuna’s disciplined readiness and the moral weight of power held under control, suggesting that true strength in dharma is not mere force but mastery and preparedness used for rightful ends.
