कालेयभयसंत्रस्तो देव: साक्षात् पुरंदर: | जगाम शरणं शीघ्र तं तु नारायणं प्रभुम्
kāleyabhayasaṁtrasto devaḥ sākṣāt purandaraḥ | jagāma śaraṇaṁ śīghraṁ taṁ tu nārāyaṇaṁ prabhum ||
Vom Schrecken vor der Gefahr durch die Kāleyas erfasst, eilte Purandara (Indra) selbst, um Zuflucht bei Herrn Nārāyaṇa zu suchen, dem höchsten Gebieter.
लोगश उवाच
True strength includes humility: when confronted by overwhelming danger, even Indra seeks śaraṇa (refuge) in Nārāyaṇa, modeling reliance on the highest dharmic support rather than ego or mere power.
Indra (Purandara), frightened by the threat associated with Kāleya, quickly goes to Nārāyaṇa to seek protection and guidance, indicating a turning point where divine refuge is sought to address a grave peril.
