Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)

महाकुलीना भवती ह्ृदाद्‌ हृदमिवागता । ईश्वरी सर्वकल्याणी भर्त्रा परमपूजिता,तुम एक उच्च कुलकी कन्या हो और दूसरे उच्च कुलमें ब्याही गयी हो; मानो कमलिनी एक सरोवरसे दूसरे सरोवरमें आयी हो। एक दिन तुम सर्वकल्याणी महारानी थीं; तुम्हारे पतिदेवने सदा तुम्हारा विशेष सम्मान किया है

mahākulīnā bhavatī hṛdād hṛdam ivāgatā | īśvarī sarvakalyāṇī bhartrā paramapūjitā ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Du bist eine Frau aus großem Geschlecht und bist aus einem edlen Haus in ein anderes gekommen—wie eine Lotosstaude, die von einem See in den nächsten verpflanzt wird. Du bist eine herrscherliche Königin, mit allem Glückverheißenden begabt, und dein Gemahl hat dich stets in höchster Ehre gehalten.“
