तस्मात्‌ तेषु महादण्ड: क्षेप्तव्य: क्षिप्रमच्युत । त्वया चैव महाबाहों पाण्डवै: सह सूंजयै:,अतः महाबाहु अच्युत! आपको तथा सूंजयोंसहित पाण्डवोंको उचित है कि वे उन शत्रुओंको शीघ्र ही महान्‌ दण्ड दें

tasmāt teṣu mahādaṇḍaḥ kṣeptavyaḥ kṣipram acyuta | tvayā caiva mahābāho pāṇḍavaiḥ saha sūñjayaiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Darum, o Acyuta, soll jenen Männern rasch eine harte Strafe auferlegt werden. Und auch du, o Mächtigarmiger, sollst zusammen mit den Pāṇḍavas und den Sūñjayas unverzüglich handeln und jenen Feinden die gebührende Züchtigung erteilen.“
