Reconciling Contingency and Human Effort
य एतत् प्राप्य मुच्येत न त॑ पश्यामि पूरुषम् । लोहेके विशाल परिघोंकी भाँति मेरी इन मोटी भुजाओंका मध्यभाग कैसा है
ya etat prāpya mucyeta na taṁ paśyāmi pūruṣam |
Bhīmasena erklärt mit grimmiger Entschlossenheit: «Seht die Mitte meiner dicken Arme—wie gewaltige Eisenriegel. Ich sehe keinen Mann, der in ihren Griff geriete und lebend wieder herauskäme.»
