भीमसेनस्य आत्मबलप्रशंसा — Bhīmasena’s Assertion of Strength
Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 74
यथा पुरस्तात् सविता दृश्यते शुक्रमुच्चरन् । यथा च पश्चान्निर्मुक्तो ध्रुवं पर्येति रश्मिवान्
yathā purastāt savitā dṛśyate śukram uccaran | yathā ca paścān nirmukto dhruvaṃ paryeti raśmivān ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „Wie die Sonne im Osten sichtbar wird, aufsteigend und strahlenden Glanz verströmend, und wie der Lichttragende, nachdem er weitergezogen ist, unbeirrt seinen Lauf nach Westen nimmt—so schreitet auch diese Sache mit unfehlbarer, geordneter Gewissheit voran.“
