सर्व तदपि जानामि करिष्यति च पाण्डव: । “मैं तो युद्धसे पहले पाण्डवोंके साथ संधि करना ही अच्छा समझता हूँ। अर्जुनने जो बात कही है और संजयने उनका जो संदेश यहाँ सुनाया है
sarva tad api jānāmi kariṣyati ca pāṇḍavaḥ |
Vaiśampāyana sagte: „Auch ich weiß das alles — und der Sohn Pāṇḍus wird es gewiss ausführen. Ich halte es für das Beste, noch vor Beginn des Krieges eine Einigung mit den Pāṇḍavas zu suchen. Ich verstehe genau, was Arjuna vorgebracht hat, und die Botschaft, die Sañjaya hier übermittelte; Arjuna, der Fürst aus Pāṇḍus Geschlecht, wird ganz und gar danach handeln.“
