Nara-Nārāyaṇa Precedent and Bhīṣma’s Counsel on Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna; Karṇa’s Reply
अनयो योड्यमागन्ता पुत्राणां ते दुरात्मनाम् । तदस्य कर्म जानीहि सूतपुत्रस्य दुर्मते:
anayo yodhyam āgantā putrāṇāṃ te durātmanām | tadasya karma jānīhi sūtaputrasya durmateḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Das drohende Unheil, das als Folge des Unrechts über deine ruchlosen Söhne kommen wird — wisse, es ist das Werk Karṇas, des Sohns des Wagenlenkers, dessen Sinn verdorben ist.“
