आसनानि विचित्राणि भेजिरे सूर्यवर्चस: । महान्‌ धनुष धारण करनेवाले तथा सूर्यके समान कान्तिमान्‌ उन समस्त महातेजस्वी नरेशोंने सभामें प्रवेश करके वहाँ बिछे हुए विचित्र आसनोंको सुशोभित किया

Transliteration

āsanāni vicitrāṇi bhejire sūryavarcasaḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Die mächtigen Könige, strahlend wie die Sonne und Träger großer Bögen, betraten die Versammlungshalle und nahmen Platz, wodurch sie die vielfältigen, prächtigen Sitze, die dort bereitet waren, schmückten.“
