Drupada’s Counsel on Conciliation and Alliance Mobilization

एतच्चैव करिष्यामो यत्नश्ष क्रियतामिह । प्रस्थापयाम मित्रेभ्यो बलान्युद्योजयन्तु न:,(हम आपके सामने जो प्रस्ताव ला रहे हैं;) इसीको सम्पन्न करेंगे और इसीके लिये यहाँ प्रयत्न किया जाना चाहिये। हमें अपने मित्रोंके पास यह संदेश भेजना चाहिये कि वे हमारे लिये सैन्य-संग्रहका उद्योग करें

etac caiva kariṣyāmo yatnaś ca kriyatām iha | prasthāpayāma mitrebhyo balāny udyojayantu naḥ ||

Drupada sprach: „Gerade diesen Plan werden wir wahrlich ausführen; hier und jetzt soll mit allem Ernst Anstrengung getan werden. Lasst uns Botschaften an unsere Verbündeten senden, damit sie für uns die Heeresaufgebote sammeln und zurüsteten.“
