Vidura highlights that a noble lineage repeatedly produces virtuous, radiant individuals; therefore one should act in a way worthy of that inherited moral standard, not betray it through unrighteous choices.
In the Udyoga Parva, Vidura is delivering ethical counsel amid rising tensions before the war; this line praises the recurring birth of the righteous in the family, strengthening his appeal to uphold dharma in the impending political crisis.
