यश्न नो ब्राह्मणान् हन्याद् यश्न नो ब्राह्मणान् द्विषेत् । न नः स समितिं गच्छेद् यश्व नो निर्वपेत् पितृनू
yaś ca no brāhmaṇān hanyād yaś ca no brāhmaṇān dviṣet | na naḥ sa samitiṁ gacched yaś ca no nirvapet pitṝn ||
Vidura erklärte: „Wer von uns Brahmanen tötet oder Hass gegen Brahmanen hegt, und wer es unterlässt, den Ahnen die ihnen gebührenden Riten darzubringen — piṇḍa und tarpaṇa —, der soll nicht in unsere Versammlung kommen.“
