उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय 33: धृतराष्ट्र-विदुर संवादः (विदुरनीतिः)
यस्त्वेतानि प्रमाणानि यथोक्तान्यनुपश्यति । युक्तो धर्मार्थयोज्ञनि स राज्यमधिगच्छति,जो इनके प्रमाणोंको उपर्युक्त प्रकारसे ठीक-ठीक जानता है तथा धर्म और अर्थके ज्ञानमें दत्तचित्त रहता है, वह राज्यको प्राप्त करता है
yas tv etāni pramāṇāni yathoktāny anupaśyati | yukto dharmārthayojñāni sa rājyam adhigacchati ||
Vidura spricht: „Wer diese Maßstäbe des Urteilens genau so betrachtet, wie sie dargelegt wurden, und unbeirrt darauf bedacht ist, Dharma und Artha zu erkennen und anzuwenden, der wird tauglich, die Herrschaft zu erlangen.“
