Adhyāya 195 — Arjuna’s Capability and Restraint Regarding Divyāstras

दिदेश तान्यनीकानि प्रयाणाय महीपति: । तेषां युधिछ्ठिरो राजा ससैन्यानां महात्मनाम्
dideśa tāny anīkāni prayāṇāya mahīpatiḥ | teṣāṃ yudhiṣṭhiro rājā sa-sainyānāṃ mahātmanām ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: Der Herr der Erde erteilte den Befehl, dass jene Schlachtordnungen aufbrechen sollten. Unter den großgesinnten Helden mit ihren Heeren ging König Yudhiṣṭhira voran—ein Zeichen für einen bedachten, pflichtgebundenen Marsch dem kommenden Konflikt entgegen, nicht für ein ungestümes Hineinstürzen in den Krieg.
