Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | babhūvur atisaṃrabdhāḥ kṛtapraharaṇā narāḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Die Männer, bereits durch frühere Schlachten erprobt, entbrannten in heftigem Kampfesdrang, vollständig bewaffnet und zum Schlag bereit.
