Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)

सभार्यस्तच्च सस्मार महेश्व॒रवचस्तदा । ततः सम्प्रेषयामास दशार्णाधिपतेरनप:

Transliteration

sabhāryas tac ca sasmāra maheśvaravacas tadā | tataḥ sampreṣayāmāsa daśārṇādhipater anapaḥ ||

Translation

Daraufhin erinnerte sich Drupada zusammen mit seiner Gemahlin an die Worte, die Mahēśvara (Śiva) einst gesprochen hatte. Sodann sandte er ohne Zögern einen Boten zum Herrn von Daśārṇa.
