अम्बायाः तपोदीक्षा–रुद्रवर–आत्मदाहः
Amba’s Ascetic Vow, Rudra’s Boon, and Self-Immolation
तस्याद्य विप्रलम्भस्य फल प्राप्रुहि दुर्मते । एष त्वां सजनामात्यमुद्धरामि स्थिरो भव
tasyādya vipralambhasya phalaṃ prāpruhi durmate | eṣa tvāṃ sajanāmātyam uddharāmi sthiro bhava ||
Drupada sprach: „Heute wirst du die Folge jenes Truges empfangen. O du mit bösem Sinn, ernte nun die Frucht deines Verrats. Ich werde dich mitsamt deinen Verwandten und Ministern mit der Wurzel ausreißen—darum steh fest und stelle dich dem!“
