दृष्टवा मां तूर्णमायान्तं दंशितं स्यन्दने स्थितम्‌ । अकरोद्‌ रथमत्यर्थ राम: सज्जं प्रतापवान्‌,मुझे रथपर बैठकर कवच धारण किये शीघ्रता-पूर्वक आते देख प्रतापी परशुरामजीने अपने रथको अत्यन्त सुसज्जित किया

dṛṣṭvā māṃ tūṛṇam āyāntaṃ daṃśitaṃ syandane sthitam | akarod ratham atyarthaṃ rāmaḥ sajjaṃ pratāpavān ||

Bhishma sprach: Als er mich schnell herankommen sah — gerüstet und auf meinem Wagen stehend — machte der mächtige und tapfere Rāma (Paraśurāma) seinen eigenen Wagen in höchstem Maße kampfbereit.
