अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
स मामभिगतं दृष्टवा जामदग्न्य: प्रतापवान् | प्रतिजग्राह तां पूजां वचनं चेदमब्रवीत्,मुझे अपने समीप आया हुआ देख प्रतापी परशुरामजीने मेरी दी हुई पूजा स्वीकार की और इस प्रकार कहा
sa mām abhigataṁ dṛṣṭvā jāmadagnyaḥ pratāpavān | pratijagrāha tāṁ pūjāṁ vacanaṁ cedam abravīt |
Bhīṣma sprach: Als er mich zu sich kommen sah, nahm der machtvolle Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma) die von mir dargebrachte Ehrung an und sprach darauf diese Worte—und leitete damit einen ernsten Wortwechsel ein, in dem die Achtung zwischen Lehrer und Schüler den Forderungen der Pflicht und dem heraufziehenden Konflikt begegnet.
