Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

गच्छ मद्वचनादू रामं जामदग्न्यं तपस्विनम्‌ । रामस्ते समुहद्‌ दुःखं शोकं चैवापनेष्यति,'तू मेरे कहनेसे तपस्यापरायण जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीके पास जा। वे तेरे महान्‌ दुःख और शोकको अवश्य दूर करेंगे

gaccha madvacanād rāmaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ tapasvinam | rāmas te sumahad duḥkhaṃ śokaṃ caivāpaneṣyati ||

Bhishma sprach: „Geh auf mein Wort hin zu Rāma Jāmadagnya, dem Asketen Paraśurāma. Rāma wird gewiss dein großes Leid und deinen Kummer nehmen.“
