अत-४-छका+ द्विसप्तत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: भीष्मका पाण्डवपक्षके अतिरथी वीरोंका वर्णन करते हुए शिखण्डी और पाण्डवोंका वध न करनेका कथन भीष्म उवाच रोचमानो महाराज पाण्डवानां महारथ: । योत्स्यते5मरवत्‌ संख्ये परसैन्येषु भारत

Transliteration

Bhīṣma uvāca | Rocamāno mahārāja pāṇḍavānāṁ mahārathaḥ | yotsyate ’maravat saṅkhye parasainyeṣu Bhārata ||

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „O großer König, o Bharata—auf Seiten der Pāṇḍavas steht Rocamāna, ein großer Wagenkrieger (mahāratha). In der Schlacht wird er gegen die feindlichen Heere kämpfen und eine Tapferkeit zeigen wie die der Götter.“
