अद्येदानीं विजानीम: सन्ति षण्ढा: सशृज्भका: । “श्रीकृष्ण! मैं देखता हूँ संसारमें अकस्मात्‌ ही तुम्हारा महान्‌ यश फैल गया है; परंतु अब इस समय हमें मालूम हुआ है कि जो लोग तुम्हारे पूजक हैं, वे वास्तवमें पुरुषत्वका चिह्न धारण करनेवाले हिजड़े ही हैं

adyedānīṃ vijānīmaḥ santi ṣaṇḍhāḥ saśṛjbhakāḥ |

Sanjaya sprach: „Erst jetzt begreifen wir: Es gibt tatsächlich kraftlose Männer—bloße Heuchler. O Śrī Kṛṣṇa, ich sehe, wie dein großer Ruhm plötzlich in der Welt um sich gegriffen hat; doch in diesem Augenblick haben wir erkannt, dass jene, die sich deine Verehrer nennen, in Wahrheit Eunuchen sind, die nur das äußere Zeichen der Männlichkeit tragen.“
