मदद्वितीयेन पार्थन वैरं व: सव्यसाचिना । स सत्यसंगरो भूत्वा पाण्डवार्थे पराक्रमी,“तुमने यह भी कहा था कि '“कौरवो! मैं जिनका सहायक हूँ, उन्हीं सव्यसाची अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारा वैर बढ़ रहा है, इत्यादि। अतः अब सत्यप्रतिज्ञ होकर पाण्डवोंके लिये पराक्रमी बनो

Transliteration

mad-dvitīyena pārthān vai raṁ vaḥ savyasācinā | sa satya-saṅgaro bhūtvā pāṇḍavārthe parākramī ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Da ich ihm als Zweiter zur Seite stehe, o Söhne der Pṛthā, steigert sich eure Feindschaft mit Savyasācin (Arjuna) wahrlich. Darum werdet zu Menschen mit wahrhaftigem, unbeirrbarem Entschluss und seid tapfer für die Sache der Pāṇḍavas.“
