ततो युद्धेष्वभज्यन्त त्रयो वर्णा: पुन: पुन: । क्षत्रियाश्न॒ जयन्त्येव बहुलं चैकतो बलम्,“तदनन्तर जब युद्ध आरम्भ हुआ, तब तीनों वर्णोके लोग बारंबार पीठ दिखाकर भागने लगे। यद्यपि इनकी सेना अधिक थी तो भी क्षत्रियोंने एकमत होकर उनपर विजय पायी
tato yuddheṣv abhajyanta trayo varṇāḥ punaḥ punaḥ | kṣatriyāś ca jayanti eva bahulaṃ caikato balam ||
