कर्णार्जुनौ वै भवेतां यथा रामजनार्दनौ | असाध्यं कि तु लोके स्याद्‌ युवयो: संहितात्मनो:,कर्ण और अर्जुन दोनों मिलकर वैसे ही बलशाली हैं जैसे बलराम और श्रीकृष्ण। बेटा! तुम दोनों हृदयसे संगठित हो जाओ तो इस जगत्‌में तुम्हारे लिये कौन-सा कार्य असाध्य होगा?

karṇārjunau vai bhavetāṃ yathā rāmajanārdanau | asādhyaṃ kiṃ tu loke syād yuvayoḥ saṃhitātmanoḥ ||

Karna sprach: „Mögen Karṇa und Arjuna vereint sein, wie Balarāma und Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) vereint stehen. Wenn ihr beide im Herzen eins werdet, welche Aufgabe in dieser Welt könnte dann noch außerhalb eurer Macht liegen?“
