प्राड्मुखस्योर्ध्वबाहो: सा पर्यतिछठत पृष्ठतः । जप्यावसानं कार्यार्थ प्रतीक्षन्ती तपस्विनी
prāṅmukhasyordhvabāhoḥ sā paryatiṣṭhat pṛṣṭhataḥ | japyāvasānaṃ kāryārthaṃ pratīkṣantī tapasvinī ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Während er nach Osten gewandt stand und die Arme erhoben hielt, blieb sie hinter ihm stehen und wartete auf das Ende seiner heiligen Rezitation — Kuntī, die Asketin, dort aus notwendigem Anlass.
