Kuntī–Karṇa Saṃvāda: Lineage Disclosure and Appeal to Fraternal Dharma
कर्ण: सदा पाण्डवानां तन्मे दहति सम्प्रति । आशंसे त्वद्य कर्णस्य मनो<हं पाण्डवान् प्रति
karṇaḥ sadā pāṇḍavānāṃ tan me dahati samprati | āśaṃse tv adya karṇasya mano'haṃ pāṇḍavān prati ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Karna ist den Pāṇḍavas stets feind gewesen; das brennt noch jetzt in mir. Und doch hege ich heute die Hoffnung, Karṇas Sinn möge sich den Pāṇḍavas zuwenden.“
