राजानो राजपूुत्राश्न पाण्डवार्थे समागता: । पादौ तव ग्रहीष्यन्ति सर्वे चान्धकवृष्णय:,इसके सिवा, पाण्डवोंकी सहायताके लिये आये हुए समस्त राजा, राजकुमार तथा अन्धक और वृष्णिवंशके योद्धा भी तुम्हारे चरणोंमें नतमस्तक होंगे
rājāno rājaputrāś ca pāṇḍavārthe samāgatāḥ | pādau tava grahīṣyanti sarve cāndhaka-vṛṣṇayaḥ ||
Vāyu sprach: „Könige und Königsöhne, die sich für die Sache der Pāṇḍavas versammelt haben, werden allesamt deine Füße in Verehrung umfassen; ebenso alle Krieger der Andhaka- und Vṛṣṇi-Sippen.“
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse frames political support as a moral choice: those who gather for the Pāṇḍavas’ cause express humility and recognition of rightful dharma by the symbolic act of taking someone’s feet, indicating allegiance grounded in ethical judgment rather than mere power.
Vāyu foretells or declares that many rulers and the Andhaka–Vṛṣṇi warriors, having come to aid the Pāṇḍavas, will show deep respect and submission—signaling a broad coalition forming around the Pāṇḍavas in the lead-up to the great conflict.
