प्रशाधि पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां ततस्त्वं भ्रातृभि: सह । समालिड्ग्य च हर्षेण नृपा यान्तु परस्परम्,“तदनन्तर तुम अपने भाइयोंके साथ इस सारी पृथ्वीका शासन करो और ये राजा लोग एक-दूसरेसे मिल-जुलकर हर्षपूर्वक यहाँसे पधारें
praśādhi pṛthivīṃ kṛtsnāṃ tatas tvaṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | samāliṅgya ca harṣeṇa nṛpā yāntu parasparam ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Herrsche über die ganze Erde; dann sollst du sie zusammen mit deinen Brüdern regieren. Und mögen die Könige, einander in Freude und Versöhnung umarmend, von hier in gegenseitigem Wohlwollen aufbrechen.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse upholds rājadharma: rightful governance should be exercised in unity with one’s kin, and political order is ideally restored through reconciliation—kings part in mutual goodwill rather than hostility.
Vaiśampāyana narrates a counsel or outcome in which the addressee is urged to govern the whole realm with his brothers, while the assembled kings are envisioned leaving after joyfully embracing one another, signaling a hoped-for settlement and peace.
