उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly
प्राग्ज्योतिषगतं शौरिं नरक: सह दानवै: । ग्रहीतुं नाशकत तत्र त॑ त्वं प्रार्थथसे बलात्
prāgjyotiṣagataṃ śauriṃ narakaḥ saha dānavaiḥ | grahītuṃ nāśakat tatra taṃ tvaṃ prārthayase balāt ||
Vidura sprach: „Selbst Narakāsura vermochte, mitsamt seinem Heer der Dānavas, Śauri (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) nicht zu ergreifen, als er nach Prāgjyotiṣa gegangen war. Und du willst nun eben diesen Kṛṣṇa mit Gewalt unterwerfen!“
