उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly
आचरष्ट तमभिप्रायं केशवाय महात्मने । धृतराष्ट्र ततश्वैव विदुरं चान्वभाषत
ācarat tam abhiprāyaṃ keśavāya mahātmane | dhṛtarāṣṭra tataś caiva viduraṃ cānvabhāṣata ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Nachdem er diesen Entschluss in Bezug auf den großherzigen Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) ausgeführt hatte, wandte sich Dhṛtarāṣṭra daraufhin auch an Vidura.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Intentions must be followed by responsible action and wise consultation. The verse highlights the ethical importance of seeking and heeding righteous counsel—especially when political decisions can lead to widespread harm.
After acting in accordance with a previously stated plan involving Keśava (Kṛṣṇa), Dhṛtarāṣṭra proceeds to address Vidura, indicating a shift to deliberation and counsel at a tense stage of the Udyoga Parva’s negotiations.
