असहां सर्वभूतानां ममापि विपुलं बलम्‌ | मयापि सुमहत्‌ कर्म कृतं दैतेयविग्रहे,मुझमें भी वह विशाल बल है, जिसे समस्त प्राणी एक साथ मिलकर भी सह नहीं सकते। मैंने भी दैत्योंके साथ युद्ध छिड़नेपर महान्‌ पराक्रम प्रकट किया है

Transliteration

asahāṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ mamāpi vipulaṁ balam | mayāpi sumahat karma kṛtaṁ daiteya-vigrahe ||

Translation

Garuḍa sprach: „Auch ich besitze gewaltige Kraft — eine, der alle Wesen zusammen nicht standhalten könnten. Und auch ich habe ein wahrhaft großes Werk vollbracht und mächtige Tapferkeit gezeigt, als der Kampf mit den Daityas entbrannte.“
