स ता गिर: पुरस्ताद वै श्रुतपूर्वा पुन: पुन: । ग्लानानां दुःखितानां च नाभ्यजानत पाण्डव:
Translation
Und jene Stimmen — dieselben klagenden Worte, die er schon früher gehört hatte — drangen von vorn her immer wieder an das Ohr des Pāṇḍava, wie das Stöhnen von Erschöpften und Leidenden; doch der Sohn Pāṇḍus vermochte sie nicht zu erkennen.
