Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Bereavement and the Averted Assault on Bhīma (Āyasī Pratimā Episode)

एवं ते प्रययुर्वीरा वीक्षमाणा: परस्परम्‌ । भयार्ता: पाण्डुपुत्राणामागस्कृत्वा महात्मनाम्‌,महात्मा पाण्डवोंका अपराध करके भयसे पीड़ित हुए वे तीनों वीर इस प्रकार एक- दूसरेकी ओर देखते हुए वहाँसे खिसक गये

evaṁ te prayayur vīrā vīkṣamāṇāḥ parasparam | bhayārtāḥ pāṇḍuputrāṇām āgaskṛtvā mahātmanām ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: So zogen jene Krieger davon und blickten einander an. Von Furcht bedrängt — weil sie sich an den großherzigen Söhnen Pāṇḍus vergangen hatten — schlichen sie von jenem Ort fort, von Schuld beschwert.
