Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
ब्रह्मचर्येण घोरेण गुर्वाचारेण सेवया । वेदानधीत्य धर्मेण राजशास्त्रं च केवलम्
brahmacaryeṇa ghoreṇa gurvācāreṇa sevayā | vedān adhītya dharmeṇa rājaśāstraṃ ca kevalam ||
Ambarīṣa sprach: „Durch strenges Brahmacarya, durch rechtes Verhalten gegenüber dem Lehrer und durch hingebungsvollen Dienst; nachdem ich die Veden gemäß dem Dharma studiert hatte, erlernte ich auch eigens die Lehre von der Königsherrschaft (rājaśāstra).“
