Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

श्रोतुं चैव न्यसेद् राजा प्राज्ञान् सर्वार्थदर्शिन: । व्यवहारेषु सतत तत्र राज्यं प्रतिष्ठितम्,राजा न्याय करते समय सदा वादी-प्रतिवादीकी बातोंको सुननेके लिये अपने पास सर्वार्थदर्शी विद्वान पुरुषोंको बिठाये रखे; क्योंकि विशुद्ध न्यायपर ही राज्य प्रतिष्ठित होता है
Translation
Beim Richten soll der König stets weise, allseitig blickende Gelehrte bei sich sitzen lassen, um die Worte von Kläger und Beklagtem zu hören. Denn auf reiner Gerechtigkeit ist das Reich gegründet.
