एवं पृष्टो महाप्राज्ञ: कौसल्येनामितौजसा । राजसत्कारमव्यग्रं शशंसास्मै बृहस्पति:

Transliteration

evaṁ pṛṣṭo mahāprājñaḥ kauśalyenāmitaujasā | rājasatkāram avyagraṁ śaśaṁsāsmai bṛhaspatiḥ ||

Translation

So befragt von Kauśalya, einem Mann von höchster Einsicht und unermesslicher Kraft, legte Bṛhaspati—unaufgeregt und gefasst—ihm die rechte Weise königlicher Ehrung und des würdigen Empfangs dar. Die Szene zeichnet Königtum als eine Disziplin achtsamer, vom Dharma geleiteter Gastfreundschaft, nicht als bloße Schaustellung.
