ये तु क्रतुभिरीजाना: श्रुतवन्तश्न भूमिपा: । य एवाहवजेतारस्त एषां लोकजित्तमा:,इन राजाओंमें जो भूपाल बड़े-बड़े यज्ञ करनेवाले तथा वेदशास्त्रोंके ज्ञानसे सम्पन्न हैं और जो युद्धमें विजय प्राप्त करनेवाले हैं, वे ही पुण्यलोकोंपर विजय प्राप्त करनेवालोंमें उत्तम हैं
Translation
Unter diesen Königen sind jene Herren der Erde, die große Opfer vollziehen, die mit der Kenntnis der Veden und der Śāstra erfüllt sind und die im Krieg siegen—sie sind die Vorzüglichsten unter denen, die die Welten des Verdienstes erobern.
