एतत्‌ ते सर्वमाख्यातं महत्त्वं प्रति राजसु । कार्त्स्येन भरतश्रेष्ठ किमन्यदिह वर्तते,भरतश्रेष्ठ) इस प्रकार राजाओंका जो कुछ महत्त्व है, वह सब मैंने सम्पूर्ण रूपसे तुम्हें बता दिया। अब इस विषयमें तुम्हारे लिये और क्या जानना शेष रह गया है?

etat te sarvam ākhyātaṁ mahattvaṁ prati rājasu | kārtsnyena bharataśreṣṭha kim anyad iha vartate ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „O Bester der Bhāratas, ich habe dir nun vollständig alles dargelegt, worin die wahre Größe der Könige besteht. Was bleibt dir hierüber noch zu wissen?“
