असितेन वसिष्ठेन कौशिकेन महात्मना । हारीतलोमशाभ्यां च तथा5<न्रेयेण धीमता
Asitena Vasiṣṭhena Kauśikena mahātmanā | Hārītalomaśābhyāṃ ca tathā ’nreyeṇa dhīmatā ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „(Diese Lehre) wurde von Asita überliefert, von Vasiṣṭha, von dem großherzigen Kauśika, ferner von Hārīta und Lomaśa, und ebenso von dem weisen Anreya.“
वैशग्पायन उवाच
