जज्ञुश्वैव महात्मानस्ततस्तं ज्ञानचक्षुषा । ब्राह्मणा वेदविद्वांसस्तपोभिविमलीकृता:,उन वेदवेत्ता ब्राह्मणोंका अन्त:ःकरण तपस्यासे निर्मल हो गया था। उन महात्माओंने ज्ञानदृष्टिसे उस राक्षसको पहचान लिया

Transliteration

jajñuś caiva mahātmānas tatas taṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | brāhmaṇā vedavidvāṁsas tapobhir vimalīkṛtāḥ ||

Translation

Da erkannten jene großherzigen Brahmanen—der Veden kundig und durch Askese geläutert—ihn mit dem Auge geistiger Erkenntnis. Ihre innere Klarheit, durch Tapas verfeinert, ließ sie das wahre Wesen des Seins vor ihnen durchschauen.
