Shloka 8

सो<$तिथिरवी॑चनं तस्य श्र॒ुत्वा धर्माभिभाषिण: । प्रोवाच वचन “लक्षण प्राज्ञो मधुरया गिरा,धर्मयुक्त वचन बोलनेवाले उस ब्राह्मणकी बात सुनकर उस विद्वान्‌ अतिथिने मधुर वाणीमें यह उत्तम वचन कहा

so 'tithir avīcanaṁ tasya śrutvā dharmābhibhāṣiṇaḥ | provāca vacanaṁ lakṣaṇa-prājño madhurayā girā ||

Als er die Worte jenes Brahmanen hörte, der im Einklang mit dem Dharma sprach, erwiderte der weise Gast—kundig der wahren Kennzeichen rechten Handelns—in sanftem Ton und gab einen vortrefflichen Rat.
