Dialogue and the Resolve to Practice Uñchavrata
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । ब्रह्मणा सह संवादं तयम्बकस्य विशाम्पते,प्रजानाथ! इस विषयमें जानकार मनुष्य ब्रह्माजीके साथ रुद्रके संवादरूप इस प्राचीन इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया करते हैं
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | brahmaṇā saha saṁvādaṁ tryambakasya viśāmpate prajānātha |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Auch hier, o Herr des Volkes, Lenker der Menschen, führen die Kundigen ein uraltes Beispiel an: die alte Erzählung von Tryambaka (Rudra) im Gespräch mit Brahmā. Sie wird als veranschaulichendes Gleichnis vorgebracht, um dieses Thema zu klären.“
