अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
तेन भिन्नास्तदा वेदा मनो: स्वायम्भुवेडन्तरे । ततस्तुतोष भगवान् हरिस्तेनास्य कर्मणा
tena bhinnās tadā vedā manoḥ svāyambhuve 'ntare | tatas tutoṣa bhagavān haris tenāsya karmaṇā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Durch jene Tat wurden die Veden im Manvantara des Manu Svāyambhuva in Teile gegliedert. Daraufhin war der selige Herr Hari ihm wegen dieses Werkes wohlgesinnt.
