Mahābhārata 12.347

नूनं पुरैतद्‌ विदितं युवयोर्भावितात्मनो: । पुत्राश्न पितरश्वैव परस्परमपूजयन्‌,पुत्रों और पिताओंने जो परस्पर एक-दूसरेका पूजन किया, यह बात आप दोनों शुद्धात्मा पुरुषोंको निश्चय ही पहलेसे ही ज्ञात रही होगी

nūnaṃ puraitad viditaṃ yuvayor bhāvitātmanoḥ | putrāś ca pitaras caiva parasparam apūjayan |

Nārada sprach: „Gewiss war dies euch beiden, deren Geist gereinigt und wohlgeformt ist, schon zuvor bekannt: dass Söhne und Väter einander in gegenseitiger Achtung verehrten.“
