नागैः सह ब्राह्मणस्य अतिथिधर्म-व्रतसंवादः | The Brahmin’s Vow and the Nāgas’ Hospitality Appeal
या हि सूर्यसहस्रस्य समस्तस्य भवेद् झद्युतिः । स्थानस्य सा भवेत् तस्य स्वयं तेन विराजता
yā hi sūryasahasrasya samastasya bhaved jadyutiḥ | sthānasya sā bhavet tasya svayaṃ tena virājatā ||
Nārada sprach: „Der Glanz, der entstünde, wenn tausend Sonnen sich vereinten—so ist die Pracht eben jenes Ortes; denn er wird vom Herrn selbst erleuchtet, der dort thront.“
नारद उवाच
The verse teaches that the highest splendor is the sanctifying radiance of the Divine presence: a place becomes supremely luminous and venerable not by external light, but because the Lord Himself abides there.
Nārada is describing the extraordinary brilliance of the Lord’s abode or seat, comparing it to the combined radiance of a thousand suns to convey overwhelming, transcendent majesty.
