Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

बदरीमाश्रमं प्राप्पय समागम्य च तावृषी । कियन्तं कालमवसत्‌ प्रश्नान्‌ कान्‌ पृष्टवांश्व॒ ह,ब्रह्मपुत्र नारदजी श्वेतद्वीपसे लौटनेपर जब बदरिकाश्रममें पहुँचकर उन दोनों ऋषियोंसे मिले, तब वहाँ उन्होंने कितने समयतक निवास किया? और वहाँ उनसे किन-किन प्रश्नोंको पूछा?

Janamejaya uvāca: Badarīm āśramaṁ prāpya samāgamya ca tāv ṛṣī | kiyantaṁ kālam avasat praśnān kān pṛṣṭavān ha ||

Janamejaya sprach: „Als der Weise Nārada, Sohn Brahmās, von Śvetadvīpa zurückkehrte und die Einsiedelei von Badarī erreichte, wo er jenen beiden ṛṣis begegnete—wie lange verweilte er an diesem Ort? Und welche Fragen richtete er an sie?“
