Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)

Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes dharma as adherence to Veda-sanctioned procedure and the principle that even the highest beings honor rightful allotment in sacrifice—devotion is expressed through orderly, scripturally grounded action.

After hearing the Lord’s words (as implied by the surrounding context), the assembled beings undertake a Vaiṣṇava sacrifice according to Vedic injunctions, and Brahmā personally assigns the Lord’s sacrificial share within that satra.
