ये त्वन्ये ब्रह्मसदने सिद्धसंघा: समागता: । तेभ्यस्तच्छावयामास पुराणं वेदसम्मितम्‌,ब्रह्मलोकमें ब्रह्माजीके अलावा जो दूसरे-दूसरे सिद्धसमुदाय निवास करते हैं, उनके लिये नारदजीने यह वेदतुल्य पुरातन पांचरात्र सुनाया था

ye tv anye brahmasadane siddhasaṅghāḥ samāgatāḥ | tebhyaḥ tac chāvayāmāsa purāṇaṁ vedasammitam ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „Und jene anderen Versammlungen vollendeter Wesen, die sich im himmlischen Hof Brahmās eingefunden hatten—Nārada trug ihnen jenes uralte Purāṇa vor, das an Autorität dem Veda gleichgeachtet wird.“
