Single-pointed concentration of mind (ekāgratā) in devotion leads to the Lord’s pleasure and grace; inner focus is presented as a direct ethical-spiritual discipline that yields transformative power.
Bhīṣma continues instructing a sage-like listener, explaining that concentrated devotion pleases Hari, and he illustrates the resulting spiritual manifestation by comparing its splendour to the sun’s overwhelming radiance at the end of a yuga.
